Flew into Dubai from London. Landed around 7am. Flying into Dubai was interesting because you could see all the oil platform rigs in the Persian Gulf and the oil ships floating around. Its like looking at an ocean of underground cash crop. Dubai was interesting to fly into. It was somewhat reminiscent of Vegas, a dessert with a massive city built into it. ...

As it was hot outside and the museum was air conditioned, we found ourselves slowly making our way through the various exhibits. ... there is valet parking (also free) everywhere. Didn't see many cops around but apparently they are paid to drive ferrari's & other super flash cars.

After relaxing by the pool we had a drink at "jetty lounge" at the Dubai Marina then went for a drive. Dubai is definitely a place that becomes more alive at night.
