Finally after a day long of flying from Chicago, Illinois at 1am CST Tuesday we finally landed in Sligo Airport at 6 pm GMT Wednesday evening. It was a cool 48 degrees unlike in Illinois it was a windy 10 degrees. The first thing we saw was their Woolen Mill. It was cool. Then we went downtown to rent a hotel. Then we went to go see all the cool shops downtown, we found out their was a little tour of Dublin, ...

We didn't stay on the island but only because the hostels were all booked up. If given the choice, we would’ve!

Thanking Magella who didn't lead us astray,

As we left Galway, we made our way into some new territory, working our way North through counties Mayo and Sligo. Neither of these counties have received the recognition in our travel research that we feel they both deserve. Maybe its a good thing because they didn't seem as crowded with visitors, leaving us ample space to explore and appreciate them. They seemed to have some of the best roads we’ve been on and probably some of the most memorable and amazing scenery. ...
