... luckily weren’t slowed down by it. Judy, FYI…when we stopped for gasoline it was $3.59/galleon. We are getting right at 10 MPG which includes sitting parked with the motor running several times. We did manage to take a scenic tour of low rent housing in Columbus which actually looked much better than some we have seen in other cities in the past.

Monday morning we headed to Mansfield Ohio. A prison built in 1886, since closed, became the background of the movie Shaw shank Redemption. This is really the main reason we are on vacation. My mom wanted to tour the prison. This massive stone building housed 155,000 inmates until its doors where closed in 1990. There were a few different tours to choose from.
