    Woke up this morning from a really good sleep. The rain has come! Knew that beaut weather wouldn't last long! Breakfast was amazing, walked into the dining room to a table full of fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses, pastries and then she gave me a full menu to choose from. Of course I ordered the English breakfast which was delicious! Couldn't go past having an almond and custard pastry too though. This hotel ...

    ... northerly route via Monmouth, M5, M42, M40 and were confronted with a constant downpour, as if driving constantly within the rainy front. One particular lorry submerged the car in a swamp of water - total wet-out and 'this could be the end of the world as we know it'. We survived 4+ hours of rainy driving to return to a damp Syresham and a cold cottage.

    B and H went the obvious route via M4, M25, M26, M20, M2 and home, arriving in bright sunshine! The moral of this ...

    ... architecture and beautiful yards with flowers and vegetables in them. The houses were like nothing I had ever seen before. Some where huge, some where tiny. I personally like the tiny houses. So cute with their flowered window sills and sidewalks leading up to the front doors.

    One thing I noticed was that none of the houses looked the same. Unlike the cookie cutter like houses I would find back home in most neighborhoods. ...

    ... It was really impressive when the pilot did a low fly-over the farm!

    A family friend of Caroline's named Graham came by to go for a ride in the Tiger Moth. He brought along his Bentley. I like cars, really nice cars, so this was just another addition to an amazing day! After the Tiger Moth landed and Graham headed off for a ride, Mark, the pilot, showed up in the helicopter to take Tom, Caroline, and I up for a ride.
