... now what’s here is the “new” building, only 500-600 years old. Despite it’s age, the hotel has a contemporary feel to it, blending ancient and modern in a way that is subtle and comfortable but still elegant. I don’t even notice it’s modernity, it’s as if the upgrades (like the RFID sensor keys) are snuck in almost so that guests don’t notice they are staying in a modern hotel, but instead feel as if they ...

They took me into the hotel to make sure I made it and wished me luck! The hotel was very old and had patterned carpet with floral walls and timber panels, lovely. But I had a room to myself with an ensuite, a double bed!! And a TV so I was very happy! It was still light so I went out for a walk and there was a cool sunset and ...

... bit of time so we decided that we didn’t have enough time to go into town for a bit of tourist shopping, so instead we found an Italian restaurant and had a lovely lunch. I’m not sure how time slipped by so fast but it seemed like all of a sudden we were pushing to get to the ferry on time so we quickly paid for lunch and headed for the car. Except Lil needed to make a quick pit-stop. Did I say quick?? After I got sick of pacing up ...
