Today, Friday, we had another great drive. We left Austin, Nevada by nine AM and had only about a hundred and fifty miles to travel. We moved lower and lower until now we're at about 4,400 above sea level. It's about seventy degrees here and feels great. I say that with only a bit a sarcasm as it is one of the only bars in Truckee with more than a couple of crafts on tap but does have a pretty incredible list of one offs, hard to finds and local staples. ... buildings all alone. his name was Max and he was 4 years old. It took about 40 minute before I realized that I needed more help to find his parents, so we set off to find a police officer. By chance his mother was talking with the officer as we walked up to them. She was very relived that he was found.
... of course beer. We have been staying in the guys’ driveway with the Scamp but are unsure if we will stay here or move to a RV park down the street for the rest of the summer. We have our fingers crossed to stay here. With the beautiful weather every day, gorgeous beaches, The Lake, cool disc golf courses, a multitude of outdoor activities, the great people we have met and of course Mike it was an easy decision to stay and we are loving it here.
