... me about the incredible views of glaciers, fjords and the sound as we flew out! How beautiful the bluish tinge on the glaciers and the tiny boats that were visting them in the sound!

Brief stop in Seattle and then home to my deeply missed husband Jim.

... Park. The earthquake the struck Alaska in 1964 and the following tsunami had significant effects across the Alaskan coast. Anchorage suffered tremendous damage 50 years ago and unfortunately, the more recent Earthquake Park signs, suffered from vandals who succeded in destroying many of the commerative displays. Back on the road, we turn into a point of interest, Denali View South. Look at a placard with Denali photos, but had no show of seeing the actual mountain as there’s way too much cloud, but get some more dense vegetation photos.
