Naples is different
We arrived at our B&B after catching the Metro to the area it is in and walking a short distance to the address only to discover that the elevator was not working, it looked as if that may be a permanent feature. The B&B is on the fourth floor of a run down building. It was exhausting dragging our bags up those 100 odd stairs in heat and …

... through the metal detector... And I was watching as they didn't understand what the security was telling them...I flew from Naples to Brussels and then through to London Heathrow. It was a long day of travel and I'm beginning to think all of Europe doesn't believe in free internet. London is extremely expensive and it cost me $7.50 for a water and 4 little apples.. We arrived to discover that the elevator was not working, it looked as if that may be a permanent feature. The B&B is on the fourth floor of a run down building. It was exhausting dragging our bags up those 100 odd stairs in heat and humidity. The B&B doesn't feel friendly, you don't feel welcome in the common area. Our room had a bathroom up yet more stairs but these were rickety, steep and narrow. The whole thing that redeemed the whole experience was a very good breakfast served on a long table so you got to chat with other guests.
