... encountered seal pups in a little rock pool who were so playful and inquisitive. They didn't shy away from us at all. Then after some grunting noises we figured out they also were hiding in tubes and under the wooden walk away! Nice little town

A travel blog entry by naomi.naylor on Feb 21, 2014

Kaikoura was a nice little town, we didnīt fancy any of the day trips here as they were all quite expensive so instead we bought a couple of bottles of wine and had a nice day exploring some of the bars and shops.

This is where we boarded the kiwi experience bus!!
