... is the largest mammal on the planet!! We started screaming and Dan told us not to get our hopes up. We started our route over the ocean and much to our excitement (and Dan's) there she was...all 20metres of her. We named her Billy the Blue Whale and she put on quite a show twisting and turning in the water!! Absolutely breathtaking. Once Billy went under we headed over and saw the whale we named 'Willy'- the sperm whale. Normally ...

He made to dive but his fluke didn't come up but he had seen a shark and gave chase which the crew had rarely seen so they got excited then he did dive and we got to see the fluke for the third time !! jungle witch my brothers and I were pretty stoked about. A little closer to our motor home there

... quick breakfast cristal and I grabbed our towels and tailed about 200 meters behind Ellie and Emily who had headed out ahead, but not too much ahead. Upon arrival at seal swim kaikoura, what an original name, the woman there told us because of conditions she would recommend that we push our trip to the 12:30, because we will see more seals. Cristal and I were totally on board with that, but now we had to find Ellie and Emily, sans ...

Today was another really hot day in Kaikoura. When I was having breakfast I bumped into Kim who I met on the Milford Sound trip! So Martha and I joined her and some of the other passengers from the Stray bus and went for tea and cake at the cafe next door. Then we wandered into town for postcards and souvenirs. We spent the afternoon at the beach and even saw some seals and a whale playing out in the waves. We couldn't stay out for more than a few hours as it grew too hot, so ...
