... was more than enough for us so we jumped on the train and after another twenty minutes we ended up in a beautiful town called Sorrento. Whilst we were on the train there we saw some gorgeous views of little towns in the mountains and greenery as well as a town right on a huge bay and ocean.

Once we got to Sorrento I immediately fell in love with it, it is a stunning place that is so relaxed and normal. I loved it! It reminded me a lot of Brighton ...

Today we said good bye to Rome and headed for the Amalfi Coast. Our first stop was at Pompeii. On the way to Pompeii, we watched a film about Pompeii and the lifestyle of the people who lived there in 79 A.D. Alessandro collected us from the Hotel again the next morning and drove us to the Amalfi coast. On the way we received a masterclass in Neopolitan driving.

First thing to note that Speed signs as far as the locals interpret them indicate a minimum speed, if you drive at this speed you will most likely cause motoring chaos.

Second thing to note, there are no traffic lights in Sorrento, and only one on the Amalfi Coast. That one is ...

... I reach into my pocket and all my money is gone. I have had my pocket picked. Once we are at pizza parlor,I tell Brendan what I think has happened. Of course, the restaurant only takes cash, so I ask where the closest ATM is. Off I go, leaving Brendan at pizza palace. By the time I get back with funds, the pizza has been brought to the table. Not in the best of moods, and the pizza is a disappointment. Not even close to the one I saw ...
