    ... little souvenir sombrero from Ensenada, which provided us with more entertainment than it did her. She was not amused. But she is adorable!

    ... of LA, 3am before we reached the hotel. What happened then was quite funny really (not for many of our group however!). We had all got off the bus (21 of us including a Qantas customer service officer), bus has gone, we are standing in the foyer of the Marriott Suites and the officious front desk manager is calling out names to give out room keys.     ... off at San Diego Zoo at 12.10 pm. We were given 3 hours along with a map and a day ticket. I had high expectations as I had heard so much about this zoo, particularly from mum. The saw a pond full of flamingos, they were so pink and looked cool too. We decided to grab some lunch first just inside the gate and had a hotdog with fries and a drink. drink cost $5.19 but a refill only cost .99 cents, so they get you that way.     ... hotel than the tour studio base was. I must admit that I found the quality of the tour to be pretty low overall every stop was for such a small amount of time and the tour guide as I have already mentioned was poor. Also I did not see Santa Monica pier after from a small glimpse from the bus and the Hollywood sign was further away than I wanted. I would not recommend anyone to go on this tour and to see each of these sights individually so as to enjoy them more. ...

    ... of the person at the studios... Nothing!! The tour did get better, we saw the backlot function offices, lighting, grips, woodshop and the sign shop. And some of the fascias used in various films and tv shows :) The highlight being the fascia used for Ghost, for Demi Moore's apartment!! Got a 'free' lunch, lovely chicken, salad and veggies, it was nice to eat greens rather than fries and burgers :) Sat outside to eat it (got a ...
