We left Niagara Falls via the Rainbow Bridge into Niagara Falls, New York. We didn't spend anytime there, but from what I saw the U.S. side of Niagara Falls is definitely the ugly step sister to the Canadian side. :) Road tolls seem to be the norm here. Today started off in Madawaska ME with more rain, The Best Western in Edmundston Canada was very nice. The General Manager Marc took nearly $80 off my bill when I told him what I was doing with The ONE Ride. Thank you Marc. Final Days in Portland

... and we just went from there. Small. Plates. Tasty. Yummy.

The following day meant we had to come to terms with our shopping decisions as we all struggled to stuff our suitcases. We had time to visit the Old Port once again and have a last meal at Eventide, where we once again enjoyed fresh oysters and that most fabulous lobster roll on a steamed bun with browned butter.

There couldn't be a better way to end this visit!
