4/22 - we left Myrtle Beach, SC. We really liked it there and would definitely go back.

We arrived in NC and are staying at the Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in Four Oaks, NC. Its a really nice campground - all newly renovated and in picturesque country setting. It's tough when you only stay a night - you really don't get to do/see much. We would definitely recommend this park.

Not a lot of snow shovelling happens here. ...

Ottawa was very good to us! Carrie's Cucina treated us to a wonderful roast leg of lamb dinner with fingerling potatoes and baby peas! Homemade cinnamon ice cream. In Robert's Bar, Manhattan's rocked, wine flowed and we soundly slept the night away. We will return the treats when they visit us at the end of the month! Can't wait.

It was an early departure on a very bright, sunny and crisp day. We crossed into New York State via the 1000 Island Bridge at Gananoque. The roads ...

... the falls and then climbed up to get some from the top. We finished up our hike through the Upper Canyon above the main falls and then headed back to the car. It was past lunch time and we only had a few more hours of daylight left, so we wanted to make it count. So we headed to George W. Childs Park, once a Pennsylvania State Park, but now a recreation area in the water gap. We parked here and had a picnic lunch, then headed out for a hike. ...
