New, smooth limbs extend from the gnarled stumps, creating a visible sign between the tree’s past and present. Stopped for lunch at a Rt 84 Country store high on a hill. Saw some unique items. Lake Wallenpaupack is close by but no time for tubing!! LJ
I played packman for free and saw a cool 8N tractor and a huge teepee. RJ
There was plenty of interesting things to examine, making it a well worthwhile visit for lunch. PJ Onward to New York ...

... br> We then headed to the Tannersville Outlet shopping Mall. This is a massive area where we stayed for about three hours, had Chinese for lunch (the best veges we've had on this trip) - Americans really know how to slaughter the greens here. Jack needed a hair cut badly so him & Russell headed away to do that. Jack also needed new jeans and shoes which were again so cheap! The outlet shopping in America is very good, Felicity got a pair of Levis today for $17. ...

First time driving in the USA - Russ got us safely from Jersey City to Milford Pensylvania. Caught a yellow cab from Manhatten across the Hudson River, or rather under the Hudson River to our car rental place - Alamo. Our rental is massive, I'm not keen on driving it, Russ loves it - a man thing, he's already had his nose under the bonnet. A truckie is staying at the same place as us, ...
