... happy to have found a gym and I thought that about 10 km should be doable, but I did not encounter that Auckland is not only the city of sails but apparently also the city of hills. Our beloved Dutch Mountains will laugh at me, but I had to give up after about 8 km, which had already taken me some 50 minutes. ... da vi ellers havde haft selskab af de andre fra Kiwi-bussen de sidste par uger, og vores kvalitetstid blev brugt på et par afsnit Big Bang og en god nats søvn - så meget nyder vi hinandens selskab! 2.-5. november: Velkommen til storbyen og på gensyn! ... verabschiedeten uns herzlich, jedoch auch mit der ihnen eigenen Distanziertheit. Mit dem Kleinbus ging’s zum Flughafen, wo das Check-In rasch und reibungslos ablief. Zum Glück hatten wir uns mit dem uns netterweise von Thomas überlassenen Cook-Islands-Internet-Guthaben noch kurz vorher das aktualisierte Weiterflugticket nach Perth auf unsere Smartphones „gebeamt"; wollte doch die Dame genau diese Flugdetails prüfen, ...

... each for the bus to get back to the beginning of the track. We're happy not finishing it :)

Today we went to the Auckland Museum with Jasmine which was good, but Jess and I will have to go back, we didn't get further than the first floor in the 3 hours we were there...

We've also bought the tent and sleeping bag for the Routeburn Track (camping over Christmas - HARDCORE)
Oh, and we've found a shopping centre area thing, so we've spent a lot of time ...
