There is no similar word in English for Fernweh. It is kind of the direct opposite
of feeling homesick. A breathtaking curiosity for the world and an incredible
urge to discover the million things that are out there. I have found myself an amazing place to live. I am surrounded with so many

friends that keep my life colorful and dynamic. I am in an inspiring country with

One was about studying at the University, it's international hold, etc. Others were about greenhouse gases, and natural antibodies in blood. The total session went from 9 am to noon.
After the lecture sessions, we went back to the hotel ...

Castle Ruins on a Bike Ride

After we stopped in Oosterbeek at the cemetery, we were on the way to Wageningen. We got our bikes from the hotel, and many of us went with Dr. Karcher to see some castle ruins. We had to take a ferry across the Rhine River, which was a neat experience. We biked through the countryside, and it was gorgeous.
Finally we reached the castle ruins. The castle had been destroyed in WWII. We took pictures, and wandered the park/grounds. We were able to loop ...
