      Wonderful Weekend

      from

We experienced a relaxing and romantic one night stay at Destinations Inn. The service was great and ourhe room (we stayed in the Congo) was amazing. We would definately like to stay there again

      Destination Inn is Great!

      from

We had a delightful stay at Destination Inn. What a great way to celebrate an annervisary! The room--Rome-- was clean, well lit (when you wanted it to be), the atmosphere of the room and the Inn is very inviting. The staff is helpful. The continental breakfast brought to you room, at a time you chose, is a very nice touch. All in all it was a great stay and would recommand it to anyone.

      Magnificant

      from

Magnificant. Such elegance and attention to detail. I honestly can not say a bad thing about this above all other place. Everyone needs to have this experience. From the time we arrived until we left we were treated like royalty. Everthing was perfect and look forward to returning soon. I am going to get gift certificates for family and friends.

      Great Theme Suite Hotel

      from

This theme suite hotel pleasantly surprised us. We have stayed in several other theme suite hotels that were very high quality and Destinations Inn matched or exceeded that quality. The outside of the building is nice but very decieving because it pales in comparison to the inside. The rooms are well decorated and we loved the projector tv. Highly recommended.

      Make it your Destination

      from

I stayed at the Arabia suite. Divine! The Jacuzzi-style tub and in-room sauna were excellent. I loved the decor. Highly recommend.

Our Stay in the Athens Room

      from

Our stay was o.k. - the first problem we had was lack of any place to hang clothing or place a suitcase. The second problem we had was the Train Horn off an on all night. If I had known there was a train that ran every few hours during the night I would NOT have booked a room. I will say this: The Room Was GORGEOUS!! We enjoyed the finely decorated room and the paint was incredible!! It would have been helpful to know that this room does NOT have a shower - only a hand held shower sprayer on the bath tub faucet. The breakfast was nice and we enjoyed the sparkling cider left in our room as well as the cheese cake for our enjoyment. Thanks.

      Great Place

      from

      Great accomodations. Great service.

Beautiful rooms but have seen better service...

      from

This was my second time at Destinations, last October in Morocco and this year in the Congo. The steam shower was so relaxing and the tub- to die for! The pebble flooring was a bit hard on the feet in the middle of the night and the projector wasn't working. When we called the front desk for assistance at around midnight we were told to push the little button that says Power or maybe unplug the machine and start over.

"If that doesn't work" she said "I don't know what to tell you."

      I replied, "Oh okay"

"Well, I don't know what to tell you-sorry."

      Okeedokee.

For a couple hundred dollars a night, you think they'd train their staff to say something??? It was still a nice stay- better rooms than say the Anniversary Inn in Boise and better pricing. All in all, I hope to return to visit the other suites at some point and the breakfast was very good.

Romantic getaway at the Destinations Inn

      from

I had heard many great things about Destinations Inn, so for my husband's birthday I booked a room. What a wonderful surprise! We were wrapped in luxury and beauty! We had the most enjoyable time from the cheesecake left for us in the fridge, the sparkling cider left chilling in the ice bucket, the wonderful breakfast left right at our door the next morning, to the champagne jetted tub and the romantic atmosphere. We highly recommend this wonderful establishment and it's friendly and helpful staff.

      Amazing attention to detail!

      from

Destinations Inn was fantastic. We were allowed to tour all the rooms when we arrived and they were so beautifully done from the Eiffel Tower shower in the Paris room, the gondola bathtub in the Venice room to the "stream" you walk across in the Thailand room. The staff were very helpful and friendly but gave us our privacy. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to our door. We will definitely return as it was such a lovely night. Would highly recommend to anyone.

... 5:30 pm, so traffic was heavier. As heavy as it probably gets in Idaho Falls! Our “staff” had gotten a motel on the north end of town, and had given good directions, so soon we were at our destination point. The motel had a pool – a slightly green pool – but it was just the right temperature to be pleasant and refreshing after the day’s ride. We had dinner at Famous Dave’s BBQ. I ...

... Inn overlooking the river. It was still about 80F so we had a table outside and had an enjoyable meal, Lynne & I had steak, Marina a whole rack of ribs, which she couldn't finish and Tamara had salmon with a lemon dill sauce. Great meal and great location. Although with drinks came to $106 the $50 off made a big difference. Tamara's State count now 9 In bed by 11pm Distance today 441 miles Total distance travelled ...

      Day 10: Teton Pass

A travel blog entry by splencner on Jul 07, 2013

... With a storm coming in, it would take ALL of my concentration watching each gauge and responding accordingly.  We went up into the pass, driving by ski slopes. The rain hit hard at this point, but I trudged on and went slow. Slow and steadyn won the race again. We made it across the pass into Idaho. Idaho Is beautiful here near Victor, which was dark since the downdraft from the storm knocked the electric poles out of service. Fortunately the darkness didn't last because ...

The climb back up to the top was challenging in the heat - back up to low seventies - so when we got back to the motel had another super duper ice cream! Lin got stuck into researching our next stop after a ...

... They even offered for him not to take his shoes off, but he decided to do it anyway.

We arrived in Salt Lake City around 2pm. Mom and Dad had been served a pretty good meal on the plane, but Major and I were hungry. I forget what they said the meal was, but they both seemed to like it. I found that odd since I never actually enjoy the meals they serve on American First Class. Major and I, back in coach, had kept trying to flag down a ...
