      ... in Brooklyn. We drove south this morning, following the Connecticut River Byway most of the way. The weather was fittingly gloomy all day. However, tonight is game 7 of the World Series, every single day of this trip has been amazing and it will be good to sleep in my own bed.

      ... crepes (Lamb Merguez sausage...yum).

      Cate and I then took our combined 3 dogs (Stormy, Cinnamon and Addie) for a beautiful hike in a local conservation area. Stormy, the fierce Chihuahua, did his level best to put Addie in her place, attempts which were mostly ignored. A good time was had by all.

      Tomorrow I visit WEBS, the yarn mecca in this neck of the woods, then we head east and south towards Mystic, CT.

      ... sweet time getting down but let me tell you it was exhausting. Not just physically but mentally. We were so focused on every step that our brains were fried when we got to the bottom and our legs were shaking. We happily got back to our Westy and the campsite let us use their showers.
