    Late start, but fabulous day!

    ... the lobby, motorcycle parked under security camera out front. Went to the gourmet grocery store next door. Had crusty bread, crab salad, and a huge can of Foster's beer for dinner. Nice hot shower, and I am a new woman.

    475 miles today, easy miles.

    Onward to mi casa tomorrow, hopefully. I haven't checked the weather forecast yet - still working on that can of Foster's!

    ... car hit the guardrail and went down an embankment and hit a tree! Although several cars had already stopped and several folks were on their way down to check on things, Larry and I pulled over. I asked if 9-1-1 had been called and they said "yes".

    One of the reasons I chose to stay in Brattleboro,Vermont was to check out the southwest corner of new Hampshire! While we were staying in White River Junction, Vermont, we drove across the Connecticut River to the New Hampshire Welcome Center to gather travel information.     Got to camp, set up and headed into Bennington to see the old covered bridges. Walked through one and it was like walking on cement. The floor is 2X4's packed together on their sides. I was amazed at how strong they were. Stopped in at a Potter Barn so see how the pottery was made. From there we went to the Sugar Bush to sample the maple syrup. By the time we got there ...
