And, by chance, I came across the Ford Cleveland plant where all the wonderful 351 & 302 Clevelands were made for those few years back in the early '70s - I felt nostalgic for my old 1975 302C powered Ford Fairlane and my 1982 351C powered Ford Bronco. I had a lot of fun in those cars and rarely did I not smile when I drove them!!

I flew out of Seattle today to Cleveland, Ohio to collect my new (for me) 1976 Buick Electra.
I now understand why my friends almost fell off their chairs with laughter when I mentioned 'Cleveland' - there is somewhere that can be colder than Seattle, Washington in Winter! When I arrived and walked out of the airport to get a taxi, I felt little flutterings against my face - it was only when I looked into the light of the nearest light that I realized it was lightly snowing!!

Went to Dearborn which was the home town of Henry Ford. It is now a suburb of Detroit. Looked to be quite affluent. Went to The Henry Ford which is an 8 acre building housing the treasures Henry Ford had collected and then some more. We saw the car which Kennedy was in when he was shot - it has been modified for later presidents. Also saw a huge steam ...
