We stopped to fuel up in Point Judith because fuel for his gas-guzzling boat was supposedly cheaper in Rhode Island than in ...

colony. The museum is closed on Mondays and Memorial Day was no exception, so I
will have to catch it on another trip to New England. On my way out of Old Lyme
I stopped at Duck River Cemetery, the old town burying ground for Old Lyme with
earliest tombstones dating from 1676. I was the only one there, so it felt a
little creepy. It would be a great place to visit on a foggy day around
Halloween!
