... to eat at Wendy's rather than Taco Bell this go around. We were back home in just over 7 hours, much better than the 9 it took up there! The temperature difference when we got home was definitely a shocker, St. Louis wasn't any warmer than it normally is at the end of June but when you spend a week up north, even upper 80s is a shocker.
Sad to leave vacation behind, but happy to be home sweet home and happy to sleep in my own bed! Til next time Michigan, you've been ...

We started the day out with another yummy free breakfast then headed down the road to Saugatuck for our last beach day of the trip!
We had planned to check out Saugatuck Dunes State Park first, thinking it had nice trails if we wanted to be adventurous and a nice beach if we wanted to just relax. We got there and were disappointed to find out that hiking a 2.5 mile long trail was the ONLY way to get to the beach. Needless to say with ...

She got to pet some farm animals and then it was on to more adventurous rides, swings that spun around, which she could've rode all day if I let her, and a carousel. I'm super excited that she inherited my adventurous, ride loving side! We got to see an authentic Dutch dance, walk in dutch wooden shoes, and see lots more exciting stuff. Reagan had the absolute best time!

Then, we drove through Shipshewana, ate at a great little coffee shop--black bean burgers with tomatoes and oranges--walked through a couple of shops, and headed to Schoolcraft to do a bit more antiquing.
