This Friday, August 16 we set out on our (almost) cross-country trip. We leave from our house in Chatham, NJ with major destination being Yellowstone National Park where we will camp for seven nights. We're taking four days to get there and 4 days home. So session 2 and 3 could not have been more different to session 1. We had an extremely loud and confident group of girls move in for the last 6 weeks, and consequently there was a lot of drama. We had heard about the girls before they arrived, and there was trouble within the first week of them being here. ... bad...but it was tiring...and it seemed to take a long time. I kept looking for our snack spot to gauge our progress but we didn't seem to recognize it. Finally we arrived at the brown cliffs and knew it couldn't be too far from there. It did seem as if it was much farther than when we came out - in contrast to the typical experience of the return seeming much shorter.
