... Pie, and Sean somehow squeezed in a bit more study, at his 'standing desk'. Meanwhile Parker kept us all constantly entertained with her puppy-zeal for discovery, and the opportunity to learn to climb stairs at breakneck speed. She never did manage to get down the stairs herself though! Sean mixed up some superb dry martinis, having pre-soaked the olives in gin for extra effect! Of course Christmas Day is also Mal's birthday, so there was a round of birthday presents too, before ...

... up this part of the route. Just look at the pictures!

Overall, the trip out to the Gunks was awesome. We had a bit of crummy, rainy weather in the first part of the week here, however after that, the weather really was great and we were elated to be able to end this leg of the trip on such a 'high' note. I had my freak out session and was able to work through this issue.

Look for our next post from Sleepy Hollow in lieu of Halloween!

    Sorry, I've had no internet!

That's right... three nights in a row without internet!

The first, at Monticello, their internet had gone down. The next, it was so slow I couldn't even access e-mails. Last night I was on the road.

But I assure you I have some great things to tell you all about my visit to Walkill, particularly Patterson and, finally, Brooklyn.

I should get these ready tonight... thanks for your patience.
