... to get to the hotel. Apparently I viewed a whole section of the city that was not planned...I guess good exercise to help recover from my frustration. I then was able to find a laundromat as all my clothes, especially the biking clothes were in a need of a washing. Up early for a quick but emotional farewell in the rain before bussing to another country. ... I then had zalm (salmon) and Mike had steak and we both had frites (french fries). Mike had a Belgian light beer (Brugse zot blond) and I had a glass of white wine (witte wijn). Dessert also came with it and we chose profiteroles--we each had 3 covered in dark chocolate so we shared with Becky and Peter. Yummy! And this was a lot of food--which seems to be the story in this country!

Once the rain had stopped and we had eaten everything in sight, we are off to tour again. First ...

Each corner you turned there was some other building that made you stop (see photos - again most on camera which I can't access) We stopped off at one of the many chocolatiers and brought a cow (reminded me of home) so within the first few hours we ticked off 2 of the 3 Belgian icons and you guessed it....in the morning, we were having waffles!
