Time is getting close for our travels to Italy. We are excited; our adventures will include: Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, Florence, Tuscany, Pisa, Venice, Milan and the Italian and Swiss Alps.


Plane and train tickets have been purchased a well as tickets to several historical sights - Vatican, Academy of the Arts (David) and Uffizi Gallery.

... when Uncle Sardis died. It was lived in by members of the Hayes family until taken over by a Foundation in 1965. They still run it today. The many trees on the grounds are beautiful and then as you near Hayes' grave, you see beautiful blue/purple flowers everywhere. They are Siberian Squill (I had to ask). They looked like violets to me.
