We donned all the cold weather gear - Andrew, John, Emerson and myself - although it was a warmer day. Thermals, ski trousers, anoraks, scarves, gloves and beanies!! . Then we drove up towards Guardsman Pass. We parked, and put on snow shoes. Andrew had skis with 'skins' and had Emerson in a back pack. We then " walked " upwards through the forest to 2750 metres. ... Colorado River. At some point, we decided to skip Dinosaur and drive all the way to Salt Lake City, in order to get an extra day in either Idaho or Wyoming. Visited with one of our neighbors from Texas who is active in the Discovery club (our brand of MOTORHOME).
