... ones over a very widespread area. The Great Salt Lake is gigantic. I think it is around 4500 square km, nearly 10 times that of Lake Taupo! What is strange though is that it is very salty, not fresh water (as the name eludes to) yet another lake right beside it is fresh water. Even Hoop didn't have an answer for that one.
