Very early start, to be at the garage again for 7 am. Spent most of the day there, then a few chores and home. Discovered next day that they had lowered the cab without lowering the bull bar first.... So front panel now has a large dent and a few scratches!

Lots to do for the party, as Sara had a theme of trains, trucks etc. Set up the garden, then went for walk around the area. Different from when we walked the same roads in the snow in March.
Then more preparation of food etc.

Great party, kids and adults, stacks of food, big camp fire. Amazing cake made by Sara in shape of a bulldozer. Dev said she had never seen so much beer at a 2 year old's birthday party!

Last guests left at 10, more clearing up ...

... impressive lunch at a local casino. At least the garage lent us a car to get lunch. Beautiful sunny day, despite the adverse weather warnings. Fresh snow on all the mountains and on the road side. Reminiscent of Norway but in no way similar except for the snow.

Another cold day but no fresh snow. Andrew and Sara off to work, so we took Emerson for walk outside. Just over the road outside, howling coyotes greeted us. Although we would not see them, they were very close.

Emerson enjoyed sliding on the ice and jumping off the snow banks. The residual snow is slowly melting with the sunny days. We did not meet any moose, although they are often seen around the ...

After leaving Yellowstone we traveled down passed the Grand Tetons (used for the back drop of the classic movie Shane) and on to Jackson Hole and old fur trading town back in the day,now a cowboy version of Queenstown (skiing,MTB ,hiking etc) Now at Salt Lake City and just Finished a tour of the Tabernacle grounds and sights ( more like a recruitment drive) so after my dose of religion we,re of to the pub for a beer ...
