Børnenes dag i Questacon
... os for meget i det hele, havde vi fået nok, og gik mod udgangen.
Vi gik via havnefronten, hvor vi så de mange flag på det internationale flag parrade. På havnen så vi også det imponerende Kaptain Cook minde; et springvand, det sprøjter ikke mindre end 147m op i luften. Derfra var vi, som i går, på jagt efter et supermarked. Vi havde spurgt et par stykke, men ikke nogen, der kunne give os en konkret adresse, så vi kørte lidt rundt i centrum, inden vi kom i tanke om vores ...
Very Moving
... also, so I didn;t want to venture too far as I didn't know what time she was turning up. I decided to go to the library to type up my blog and didn't realise it was going to take me 30 mins to get there. Canberra is so spread out that it is difficult to walk everywhere. You really need to catch a bus. Anyway, I walked there and took in the sights of Lake Burley Griffin, which was beautiful. If you walk all the way around it it is about 16 km. Very ...
Pre-trip Rough Plan
I emphasise this is very rough...
I fly out of Sydney at 4.30pm tomorrow (I have just found out the time, I had no idea before)
Into Bangkok, spend a couple of days there including doing all the stuff to apply for a working holiday visa for the UK, head to either Phuket/Ko Phi Phi or Ko Samui. I am sure I will get to Ko Phangan at some stage too, should probably check when the next full moon party is.
Then back ...
The dilemma
... majority of our trip.. however we do have about 2 weeks or so to plan our own fun in London, Paris, Rome, Athens and Abu Dhabi.
Time to eat and get to sleep quick, so I can cross yet another night off the count down calendar!
** So you don't get the wrong idea, I don't own 7 black dresses.. I only own shoes that go with everything.. and my jacket is appropriate for the winter months in Canberra... which I guess also makes it appropriate for the Arctic!
