... laugh at the photo booth people who take your picture superimposed over a fake Falls background (waiting for you when you get off the boat) - hold on while I give you $30 of my hard earned cash for a fake picture of the falls and I'll delete the ones that I've taken on the actual boat!
    3) a walk behind the Horseshoe Falls which fell short of expectations - there were just two peepholes behind the falls and all you could (or couldn't?) see was ...

... headed for the boat it was funny to see how many people found it difficult to put them on! Once on board we headed for the falls and almost immediately we were soaked from the spray being thrown up. As you can see from the photos, the wet blue poncho look is not the best in the world! ... a viewing deck at the side of the bottom of the falls - got wet even with the poncho the mist/splash was so strong. Back up through the compulsory gift shop, and back onto the bus. The next stop was at the Aero Car that overlooks the whirlpool where the rivers converge and change direction. Then it was off to the butterfly house. Some beautiful butterflies but badly behaved parent and children trying to ...

... into Niagara Glen, a nature reserve, and took myself on a two hour hike down to the NIagara River. It was just gorgeous! It's "Fall" here so the trees are all ablaze with colour and it's amazing to see, I don't think it would look as good while they were all still green. The hike itself was great (it certainly warmed me up!) and I saw a deer and lots of Black Squirrels while I walked. I had hoped to make it as far as the whirlpool and see it from the waterlevel but I missed the turn ...
