Beth arrived home from work at 6pm and I met her excitedly, all packed and ready to go! Ash was meeting us at the Pipe's and she couldn't come soon enough. Uncle Vaughn discussed the travel route with Beth and even printed us off some directions! Finally we were all in the car and ready to roll. Our first road trip! It was going to be fun.

... and as such couldn't get a good spot on the crowded top deck but that worked to my advantage as I could move around the bottom deck and have a gander from different angles rather than being fixed to the spot. I'd expected a bit of a soaking and had packed accordingly. I had flip flops, a spare t-shirt, a towel and a raincoat but none of them were necessary. ... Falls and Canada has the Horseshoe Falls which are the more recognisable falls. Even though getting over the border was an incredible pain in the ass, the views from the Canadian side are just amazing. The mist that comes from the Horseshoe falls is massive, you get sprayed hundreds of metres downstream !

What I wasn't expecting at Niagara was the crazy tourist neon lit streets, packed with amusements parlours, mini golf, ...
