And sure enough, we walked by the Roman baths, looked into some beautiful churches (one with a "Beware of Pickpocketers" sign out front... sad), and down to the Trajan Market (basically a mall for the Romans) and passed a lot of other interesting things that I have no idea what they are.

... br> There are no npics of the Sistine Chapel as no photography allowed and no flash photography is allowed in St Peter's Basilica so some photos are a bit dodge.
After saying bye to the pope we almost ran to get to the Pantheon before it closed. Another amazing building, but looks like it needs some TLC on the outside.

Ok, so it's been 10 days now, more or less, and I've finally got a room of my own! The first week spent in a hostel was a bit sketchy... getting dressed in the toilet, cringing because I had to witness people who refused to get dressed in the toilet, listening to the various grunts, groans, snores, and other, less palatable, omissions made by the 9 women in my dorm each night... you can imagine. So here I am, just 3 streets away from the Vatican, in my sunny room. ...
