... This historic town started as a port and has had about 2,300 years of continuous occupation. Apparently it is the best preserved Romanesque-gothic complex in Central Europe, which was impressive to see when wandering around. But I really think that Trogir's party-piece is it's location, which was impossible for me to capture from ground level, so I've included an aerial photo. Nice piece of real estate, I say!

After a brief layover in Zagreb, we headed straight to the Dalmatian coast starting in Split. Split is highlighted by the remarkable Diocletian's Palace from the third century. I bought the bus ticket, got my luggage, and went to eat soup and hot chocolate at a restaurant. Currently, I am sitting in an Internet cafe. I hate being cold. So I am mentally preparing myself for the cold of Europe. Thankfully, the forecast says sun. That beats rain. I would like it to snow in Prague, on Thursday. Then I only have to worry about transport to the airport!
