... to get out for a wander to find it about eight cars pulled into the carpark. As it was a very small carpark and we nearly filled one end of it we decided to move on before we got jammed in. There was nowhere else to park unfortunately so we didn't get to see whatever there is there to remember that dreadful day. ... 12 miles away. We opt for the one in Allendale knowing it will be very small. The meeting house is big, built in the 18th century and rebuilt in the 19th. ... why my relatives moved south.
We went to Durham which is a lovely town with a lot of activity around the historic centre. We wandered up and down the uneven streets of old Durham town which has many old old buildings.
After a late lunch we decided to leave Old Durham Town. Reminds me of a Roger Whittaker song.

... met up with us and the drinking continued! It got to midnight and me and Victoria called it a night but on the way we found the most amazing pasta place that was still open! It was like you chose what pasta you want and then choose 4 toppings, I got chorizo, sundried tomato, bacon, pesto and parmisan and like a tomato based sauce! It was AMAZING!! ... get as many points as you can. As you can probably guess the game gets quite intense, and involves lots of shouting.

We also enjoyed playing Monopoly, Cluedo, Uno and 20 questions throughout the week. But it wasn't all sitting around. On Thursday the sun was shinning and we got a good game of Badminton going.
