Heading on to North Dakota
We drove a long day from International Falls to Minot. We drove out of Minnesota by way of Warroad, sneaking a peak at the Lake of the Woods. We stopped in Grand Forks and played a fun game of disc golf at a great course. Then on to MInot where we stayed a nice Sleep Inn that had a great water park with crazy fast slides. We settled in for another good night ...
Day 3 - Sunday
... shut down in both directions while they were paving. So the escort vehicle was the roller. LOL They did allow me and a couple more bikes to wait until most of the traffic was to the other side so that we didn't have to try and ride at 5 mph. That was very nice of them.

... once you are cycling you don't feel the winds and so the key is just to keep going!
So now I had done 275m in 2 days.... it was a good feeling as was the fact that I had checked into a Motel right by Minot Mall which would enable me to do a bit of shopping and even visit the cinema - you know how much you are struggling for company when a cinema seems like manna from heaven! Tomorrow would be a day off - or so I thought!
