... the foggier it got. We caught our first glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge and it was barely visible. We found the Presidio Golf Course which was just an exit or two after crossing the bridge. This is one of the prettiest courses we have ever played. The course used to be part of the Army base but is now open to the public. First stop Anderson's in Conn Valley St. Helena. This is a real gem of a place and well worth a stop if you are coming to Napa. It has a great micro climate lots of sunshine it is nestled in the valley protected from the fog, perhaps climate for great Cab grape growing. ... buildings. The Hydro Bar and Grill advertised the best burger in town, so that’s where we decided to eat. The burgers weren’t the best we’ve had, but no complaints. Judy and I spied a couple of shops we wanted to visit while Pete and Harlan went in search of ice cream.
