    passed several old cottages which reminded me of Rabbie Burns
    cottage. The difference here was that they were old fishermens

    ... got some last minute supplies and headed over the National Park.


    The setting up of the camp proved remarkably straightforward apart from the oversight that Dad’s new bed allowed absolutely no room for me (in what was advertised as a three person tent). “First and only issue - I hope” I volunteered to sleep outside on the foam. We had planned this weekend based on the weather forecast so I foresaw no problems.

    ... and fallen asleep in the car…leaving Tom trying to navigate himself to Hermanus.


    We arrived in Hermanus safely (and I was bright-eyed after my doze). Hermanus is a popular alternative for shark diving but as we had already done this, the rest of the afternoon was spent walking along the cliff and enjoying the fresh sea air.     I decided to take Route 62 to Cape Town and stay over at the "Warmwaterberg Spa" on a friend's recommendation. I have not slept in a caravan in 20 years. It is not expensive either and the spa water is around 40 Deg C. I stopped at Ronnie's Sex Shop just down the road.
