... had been working there for 8 yrs, and we met a nice couple who gave Shannon some counsel on where to buy an outdoor dress. But, for me the person I met up there was Jesus in the person of Shannon Perkins. She is so often the person who represents Jesus to me. I am so thankful for our relationship and her love. May God continue to bless her as we journey together.

Santa Fe
It has been almost 3 years since we had been to Santa Fe for our honeymoon and it was a great 2 days. The weather was much different from December to July so we didn't do as much wandering around as we did in December. A very very very old place
We had been really interested in the cultural history we saw in Mesa Verde, so we were keen to learn more about the oldest capital in America, Santa Fe which was founded in 1610. It is also at least the third oldest surviving American city founded by European colonists, behind the oldest which St. Augustine, Florida (1565) -- I stole that from Wikipedia : )

Sante Fe and the Southwest
... the earth, that is saturated by tourists. We wanted to stay at a hotel overlooking the Grand Canyon but they didn't allow pets!! When we drove down to the nearby town, all the hotels were booked! We couldn't stay! So we got our pictures of the huge Canyon and decided to push forward and drive at night until we got tired and crashed at the nearest pet friendly motel.
We pushed on forth to LA the next day...
