... so I got to see the ocean view in NB which are often obscured by a thick morning fog.

We arrived at Alpine Valley campground at 7 pm and managed to pitch our tents before dark. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant. I had baked salmon and it was delicious as were the vegetables and salad. Now I need to go into food coma before morning comes.

... top of our car roof! So embarrassing. But, you gotta do what you gotta do out here! And sleeping on the mattress is as close to an actual bed as we can get. This campground has solar-powered bathrooms and HOT showers (<3). It is definitely the nicest and cleanest campground we’ve been to so far.

We awoke to rain and cool temps. We decided to drive over to Cabot, VT and check out the Cabot Creamery. On the way, we decided not to listen to Samantha on the GPS and took the "road less traveled". That was a mistake. When we got into downtown St Johnsbury, they had the street torn up, and with the rain it was like driving through a mud bog. What really got me was that we met a nicely restored, bone stock '48 Ford rag top that was driving through the slop. ...

We transitioned from Hinsdale, NH to St. Johnsbury, VT today.

We had heard that the area was experiencing high pollen (guessing it is pine pollen). We noted at the last couple of parks that the coach and Jeep were covered in a yellow dust. However, as we drove north, the wind picked up, we were amazed at the pollen "dust" clouds that were stirred up with the wind! ...

... was able to purchase a large Nike bag that I will be able to reuse at home. Back on the bus and off to Boston. It wasn't too long before we got to Boston and reached the hotel. We got in late in the afternoon/ evening and got our key and went to our room.
