A travel blog entry by matt-hryniewicz on Mar 01, 2015

Went skiing with the Reidy's and their cousins. Jay Peak is definitely a must on a skiers list. Some sweet glade skiing for novices. Packed powder. 25 degrees. Barely a breeze. ... range of shade is still amazing. Our major difficulty was in getting just the right photo opportunity to do it justice. Maybe we are doomed to fail on that score?

Being in the mountains and the lack of moisture recently made the colors so vivid. Perfect timing for the best color. You will see in some of the photos that we really couldn't have timed it any better. Our final destination was Albany, NY. ...

... Citrus, peppers and tomatoes were not permitted. Luckily we had finished the oranges and tomato at lunch. Apples were okay.

The drive on the highway was lovely. There were few vehicles and the western sun was shining on the trees highlighting their colour. We arrived at our motel around 5.45. It is fairly basic but is much bigger than last night's room which was quite cramped. It was much cheaper than the other hotel/motels in the area and is all we need for ...
