Stayed four days while healing from strained and bruised muscles. Was made to feel at home. Great breakfasts, quiet nights, across the street from the Ryan Leisure Center swimming pool.

... tremendous force from the mower and pieced the vehicle wall.
The man who did it was upset too (but not as much as Jim and I) and he took us up to the office to see what we could do. He called his boss, we called the dealer, the manufacturer (for info about warranty, approved repairers etc) and the insurance company. We were given hot drinks (for shock?) and access to the phone so we did not have to use our prepay phone. They did everything they could to help and when ...
Slept like a log.....a good 9 hours, it has been a big few days. Fight my way around the shower to get wet, not the nicest accommodation we've stayed in but when you're tired it doesn't really matter. When ...

But even so, in those weeks, I managed to pull off two fundraisers. The first fundraiser was the coffee morning in Donaghadee Methodist church. I had a craft stall with all the bits and pieces Mum and I have put together in the last ...
The wind has been howling all night and the rain lashing. We decide to have a lie in and a slow morning. Although it's overcast it feels warm and the outlook is good. We drive into Stranraer as we need to find a launderette. We finally find it and deposit it in a large machine then go off for a look around Stranraer. I am in need of some new socks, I have loads at home but didn't pack enough. Just like I packed far too many skirts and blouses, I simply don't need them! We ...
