... a show at the Grand Ole Opry. But book seats early or you end up sitting in the nose bleed seats as every show is extremely well supported.

If looking for rare cars, then Lanes Motor Museum is a must. Vehicles here you will never see anywhere else in the world as prototypes and never commercially produced. Also odd selection of motorbikes on display. Beauty of this museum is you can walk right up and around the vehicles so long as you don't touch.

... which at one time was the biggest in the State. It's even more famous because they kept fantastically detailed records of everything and they only ever sold two slaves and they always bought families and encouraged them to raise their own. Not interbreeding!!!

The slaves seem reasonably well looked after and many stayed on afterward. Although they quite often changed their name to Washington and Lewis.. The descendants of the slaves became ...

... three stories, over 20 rooms, thirteen bathrooms, five fireplaces, two kitchens, an indoor pool and even an indoor shooting range on 136 acres of pristine land. Is this place big? Yah, but the difference between Fontanel and The Biltmore is Fontanel is a home. It's "homey" not "showy".

After the Fontanel, we were bussed over to the Country Music Hall of Fame. We had a great buffet lunch ...
