... and watch the barge traffic pass by, so I missed this experience.

Nashville was great. We went to a Saturday night Grand Ole Opry show. I was shocked to find that I didn't recognize Vince Gill - I remembered his very cute 1990's self, not the slightly overweight balding version. Sigh!! A few jaeger bombs and vodka & diet cokes later, we made it to our second bar of the evening, Honky Tonk Central. Contrary to the name, this place was pretty awesome. Three floors of live music and alcoholic milk shakes - who wouldn't be happy here. This was also the first bar/club that I have ever been to where there was a queue for the ...

... her daughter off for a concert. Us four guys and Gail eventually had a meal together - its sounds bazaar I know but a cracking evening. I think Gail was going to have an interesting time explaining to her daughter that she had spent an enjoyable evening (hopefully) with four English Gentlemen ( I use that term loosely!). Taxi back to the hotel and time for an ice cream sundae in a local ice cream sundae place before to bed!
