... really neat old buildings. While at the diner, I heard several people talking - the owner, the cook and some customers and they all sounded like they were from Chicago. Either they were, or the accents in central NY and Chicago are similar.

... old wooden roller coaster called the Twister. Lots of fun and only cost $2.50! The food is really good and this park has been rated as having the best food of all amusement parks. Also they have hundreds of picnic tables to use for free and lots of people were bringing in their food. Really a nice park and it was full of families having fun.

Extra events at camp
2014 is the 50th anniversary of Camp Ballibay and after all our campers had left, the doors were then opened up for the "Allumni Weekend", a gathering of campers from previous years (one from 25 years ago) come to sleep in the cabins, do some activities and reminiss.
After the Alumni Weekend it was down to 8 people to turn the summer camp into a 4 day wedding venue. With our main chefs gone home with their children, ...

A cut finger from a machette sized knife (although she still blames the gigantic red potatoes she was cutting, not her knife skills), fainting whilst bleeding over the chef and also being stood next to a water pipe as it burst straight into her face pretty much sum up the first few days but after that life was great for her in the kitchen, especially with the great team led by Chefs Kate and Alex whose fantastic cooking has led to us gaining several pounds.
