    Hard day - are we really good?

    ... to deal with two practices a day. Our second practice was a scrimmage against a U16 boys AAU team that literally came in and kicked our butts!! They took no mercy on us. We have work to do. We leave Sunday to play the best in the world and struggled against 15 year old boys! UGH! Our next practice may last for 3 hours...the girls should be afraid! ...

    ... people to see this 5th wheel. We walked in and it just felt right. We knew it was God's timing. So we made the deal.


    We walked in and instantly felt like we were home. Here is an RV we can travel in and feel comfortable... but more important: we will be WARM in the winter and cool in the summer.

    ... continued on our way towards Telluride and after a shortstop in Gunnison (such a cool town) we arrived at smugglers for dinner around 7:00pm. As always, the drive from Montrose to telluride was beautiful. Large mountain peaks and beautiful landscape took your breath away. My favorite part of the trip for sure. Mom, dad, and our friends Teresa and Bill were at dinner and returned just as we unpacked our bags and got settled. We had arrived and looked forward to a fun ...

    ... and followed a number of small lakes and rivers. We saw snow capped and bare rocks jutting out from stands of pines or aspens. We passed through Leadville heading for Pike's Peak, outrunning two rainstorms and finally experiencing light showers and the threat of more rain when almost to Pike's Peak. We will try to get to the Peak and to some waterfalls tomorrow ...
