... in the diner. He told us that they were making a 12 episode reality show for Discovery Channel on the mining and miners in Jade City. He said he would probably end up on the cutting room floor except for when they were having a big dinner and he had to go out and get turkeys for dinner. He said they were running around and they had to cut off their heads etc. He said he likes his turkey frozen in a plastic bag.

A long drive with nothing much to entertain us. Our camp site, South Park Rv, is just outside the town of Prince George, the northern capital of BC. Our farewell dinner had overdone prime rib BUT. We had an opportunity to say good bye to some new friends we made on the trip. Who knows if we will meet again but we won't forget them! Tomorrow we start our trip to Seattle with a stop in Cache Creek and Vancouver for two nights. I'm so looking forward to staying put for some time ...

... look too threatening, but then, we couldn’t see it all either. There were lots of tributaries all along this river from Prince Rupert to Gitwangak and Hazelton and New Hazelton. There is apparently good salmon fishing all along this area from Prince Rupert as we saw lots of cars and boat trailers.

... and there were no mosquitoes!! After about 20 minutes we re-boarded . . . except for some guy who delayed the train for about 5 minutes . . . he had lost his lens cap . . . and had the train people walking around where he was to try to find it . . . only to have his wife (I am guessing) . . . shout out that he left it in the train in his seat!! What a dink!! Glad I've never done anything dumb like that!!!! :-) :-(
