You get to sleep in the old school beds (mattresses have been changed since the original occupants!), with no running water and a flashlight with directions to the outhouse. Though tempting, Andrew and I declined and pushed on to Prince George for the night.

... and the travelers on their way through to somewhere. It's about 60 kms outside of Prince George and well worth the stop, if only to marvel at the construction materials. The logs have to be at least 80 cm in diameter! Huge! They offer cafe style food and in their display counter I spot all their different pies, cherry, apple, strawberry and rhubarb - they look extra delicious - and the strawberry and rhubarb certainly delivers on expectation! Yum! ...
