... quiet snowy this week which meant that the conditions were great, although visibility at times a challenge (or was that my age?).
Last year we tried Loon for the day. This year we ventured up to Cannon which was wonderful. Slightly more dated than WV, but fabulous trails, great food and a wide selection of craft beers.

Today is all about packing and feeling nostalgic for all that this fall foliage experience has meant to us. We had our last lunch at Bart's where Guy made up a new grilled sandwich for us of green & red pesto, turkey, corned beef, cheddar, and tomato and we chatted with Linda - not really saying goodbye because we're meeting at 7:30 AM tomorrow to have breakfast together. Quck snoop around Concord and up to Franklin looking for another covered bridge. Unfortunately, no luck.... So, we keep going to Laconia. We are a little behind schedule and getting hungry. So, we pulled over when we saw a sign advertising food and an antique shop....big mistake! ...

The road was spanking new fresh tarmac and was covered by a Golden tunnel of trees. By far the best colours I have seen and not a soul around. Perfect riding conditions. At the top of 'Evans Notch' we stopped for a look around. Riding around here is very popular and I can see why, its incredible. There are many 'Notches' around here but this would be the only one for us today.
