As it was quite windy we voted against the exposed sites on the Spit and went to Oceanview RV on the bluffs above the town – expensive at $44, but it had everything we needed plus great ocean views, including the Aleutian range away in the mist, and sea otters in the sea below. There were only about 8 occupied sites and amazingly the closest family shared our surname – its a small world.

... barking and jumping around while the staff were picking which 16 dogs to hook up.

They definitely wanted to be picked and when we got going can honestly say that it looks like they enjoy it too. So our "sled" ride was interesting, seeing it's not winter therefore no snow, instead we were in a wheeled cart being pulled down gravel tracks. It was ok but I think the dogs enjoyed it more than we did.

The BnB was located at the top of the largest bluff in town. The view was spectacular! It was like staring at a living postcard.
