i'm not sure what's worse: air canada, or the fact that compared to other north american airlines, it doesn't get much better than air canada. *sigh*

minor annoyance pre-flight - "technical" difficulties with their mobile and web check-in service, lands me at a window seat for the long haul flight. gah. not a fan. looks like i'll be hanging out in the cabin for lots of it.

on to toronto, and onwards we go...

... this doesn't get me banned from vietnam before i've even arrived!)

this trip will be my first as an actual doctor and sadly (or not) it's my most (over-)prepared trip, complete with anti-diarrheals, antibiotics and antihistamines. i'm a walking pharmacy. perhaps a little much. this'll also be my first time using a money-belt, although thanks to MEC it'll be more of a leg strap.

time to dust off the flag bag and put'er to use. next stop, pearson, onwards to vancity...
