... there were a lot of English accents among the crowds (especially students). This is where I was reminded that I was still in Britain.

I wish I could have ventured out and visited other, more rural, parts of Scotland, but unfortunately I just didn't have enough time. Maybe some day I will go back and get the chance to learn more about Scottish culture which is, after all, part of my own heritage!

... Aileen and Kirsty turned up for a chat and then a quick goodbye. A round of tears from mum and off we headed to Edinburgh again.

It's always hard to say goodbye when your going to be half way round the world from those you love and everyone will be missed terribly. It was wonderful to get the opportunity to spend some quality time with very special people. Our love goes out to all of you and hope to see you in Australia soon.
