The City of Love

... mid-afternoon and hopping on and off several metros. We checked into our hostel, Aloha, and got freshened up and unpacked. The rooms overall weren't the worst hostel we have stayed in since being abroad, but they were pretty bad. Especially the bathrooms, ICK! We then ventured out for lunch/dinner since we didn't eat anything all day long. After switching on and off the metro so many times, we were bound to loose at least one of us - and yes we did manage to loose Stephanie at ...

Mind the Gap

You go to the salad, pizza or pasta counters and order what you would like. They cook it in front of you and you swipe the card over the order machine. You take your food and drink, collect your cutlery, choose your table (inside or out) and enjoy your meal. Then when ...

A travel blog entry by sarah_rossie

Today I did a bike tour with blue bike tours. I was the hidden Paris and included cool areas I wouldn't have otherwise gone to. It was an easy ride but the cars were a bit scary!!! Mostly though we were in bike lanes. There were 2 American families, another yank and me. The guide was French and was hot! We stopped at a bakery for lunch and I had a baguette and an eclair. It was yummy! Then the weather was really nice so I ...
