... at the end of he Boardwalk. We saw a couple of gators on our ride as well as an ibis, a blue heron, egrets and a couple of small snakes (one of which was injured). Drove to Jekyl Island first today. Arrived around 1:30. Drove to the far side of the island to a picnic area and had lunch. We enjoyed a walk along the driftwood beach and took pictures of some of the interesting driftwood specimens. We were on the road again by 3:00 - heading to Waycross, Georgia. ... look at the Heritage Farm, they have a blacksmith shop, tobacco barn and other buildings and some farm animals.

Tomorrow we move on to Crawfordville for 3 days and plan to be home on Monday. Our trip is really winding down and we are looking forward getting home.

We're now at General Coffee State Park. It's virtually abandoned, with more Camp Hosts than campers. The host, Don, said that it's typically so during the week. There a some interesting trails here which we will explore tomorrow. The oil change and check-up went well, but I'm not so sure about the tire pressure.
