... voru núna að ferðast um heiminn. Algjörir snillingar. Eldsnemma næsta dag fórum við í rútuna. Einhverjum var hennt úr við einhvern Geothermal park með goshverum og bubblandi leirpollum en við íslendingarnir létum ekki bjóða okkur að þurfa borga sig inn á eitthvað sem við getum séð frítt heima og kusum því frekar að ganga um í frekar mögnuðum skógi sem mun aldrei finnast á Íslandi, fylltum 30m háum trjám og kristaltærum tjörnum.

Brodelndes Land
... aber noch nicht genug hatten, fuhren wir zu einem heißen Fluss, in dem man baden kann. Wir waren ausnahmsweise mal fast die einzigen Touristen. Viele einheimische Jugendliche kommen zu diesem Idyllischen Ort mitten im Urwald und feiern ausgelassen. Wir hätten eigentlich nachts wiederkommen müssen, denn überall an den Felsüberhängen waren Kerzen gesteckt.
Immerhin blieben wir bis die Sonne fast verschwunden ...

Watching The Haka.
... first glimpses of Lake Rotorua which had a turquoise shine as the sun shone of it. Around the edge of the lake was a boardwalk area which took you around a number of mud and thermal pools. The smell started getting stronger the nearer we got and it was amazing to see how the heat from below the earth's surface was literally boiling the water as steam escaped from cracks in the ground literally feet away from us.
