He started the winery about 1960 (?) because the company where he was winemaker became very big and didn't support the local growers. From up there you could clearly see the many wineries with the large vats for holding the gallons of wine that are produced. ... Valley and I drove us around from there so Mum and Davo could drink. We went to my favorite 2 wineries from my last visit. To Rockfords and then to Langmeils - both as nice as I remembered them and Davo got a bottle from each place. Then we got some food in a Chateau where some girls were playing croquet.
