Some rooms of the MIT feature art done by John's mother who studied in Paris and whose work has a definite style to it, GG and I both liked it.
We later enjoyed our hard earned meal and were too full for dessert! We saw some lovely country today, met some beautiful friendly people and thoroughly enjoyed it all.

Our first full day here began with a wonderful breakfast, provided by Donna, of fruit, fruit juice, bacon and as many pancakes and maple syrup as we could eat.
With full bellies we headed out with John and Penelope for a guided tour of the area starting with the farm. The farmhouse has the biggest fireplace I have ever seen looking like it is built out of some sort of boiler.
So, after our morning walk to Emerald Lake we headed north and east to Woodstock. Brenda was keen (not VT) to get some real, farm made maple syrup and cheese.
