So we've actually been home a few weeks. How time flies!  Much faster when you're back into the old daily grind.  But let's go back in time to June 20th for a minute. ... not merit a photograph. The restaurant is known for their guacamole made table side with fresh ingredients. The sangria was sweet, but a nice end to a hot day!

... museums and my father building a big HO train set in the basement.  After he moved to Oregon one of the first things he did (after Crater Lake) was to take us to the Medford Railroad Park. Now that the hotels are all booked, we started looking into "what to do" when we're not visiting a national park or historic site.  Rafting on the Colorado is out.  Turns out it's a 140 mile drive one-way from where we're staying at the Grand Canyon. In other news, Tioga Road, a.k.a. Rt 120 thru Yosemite is opening on May 4. This is good, it would be a very long way from Groveland to Lee Vining if we had to go AROUND Yosemite.
