... was the apartment which costs $150/day plus tax (compared to $65 - $95 for the other rooms). I had no other choice so took it. After we got into the room (#25), we were quite pleased. It has a sitting room and a kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom. It was clean and quite pleasant. The extra space made the place more comfortable. Now I am sitting at the kitchen counter and working on my laptop. Not bad at all. The owner (Sandy?) was very pleasant.

While driving towards Moscow, we went by a fancy looking driveway (fancy gates and a little structure that looked like a guard house with a tower top) - it said "Meadowinds" on the gates. ... the appearance of the bathroom--which would have caused recoil a few months ago. This bathroom had toilet paper, hot water, AND soap. I mean, what else do you need? To top it off, it was fairly clean. Definitely not pretty, but not terribly dirty. I am sure that within a few months, the perspective I currently have will fade. But, hopefully, I can remember some of these lessons, and keep a bit of perspective to our phenomenal lives.
